Shower cubicle leaks
In the course of our work at Brighton and Hove Plumbers, we come across many leaks from shower cubicles. The leak could be from the trap, the supply pipes, the output pipe or from the tray itself. A diagnostic test can determine the cause of the leak.

Electric shower designs
As with most plumbing appliances, design has become increasingly more important. Chrome and white finishes are available as well as designs that have more ergonomical function.

Pumped electric showers
These showers do not heat the water but get a gravity fed supply of both hot and cold water which it mixes and boosts. Each supply must be from the tank and not a T from another supply pipe.

Cable and fuse sizing
When installing a new electric shower the correct cable size and fuse rating must be determined. We use ready made tables or carry out the calculations ourselves.

RCD Protection
As part of the 17th Edition of the Electrical Regulations, all circuits in a bathroom must have RCD protection. RCDs trip if they detect any leakage of current (a fault).
